THE VISION FOR STUDENTS:
Graduates of VCA are Christ-followers who discern truth from error and engage their culture as they fulfill God’s purpose for their lives.

THE VISION FOR VCA
Looking to the future, VCA would be an example of academic excellence, large enough to compete academically and athletically, well respected in the community, centrally located on its own land and accessible to multiple communities, a bridge builder to churches, businesses, and the home-schooling community, a planter of other Christian schools, and supported financially by area churches, individuals, and businesses.

CORE VALUES
1. We value every student each created in the image of God. We seek for them to know and grow in the knowledge and wisdom of the Lord. (Proverbs 3;5.6; Luke 2;52)
2. We value God's Word as the source of all truth and as the authority for what we believe and practice. (II Timothy 3:16)
3. We value our Staff as followers of Christ, qualified and equipped to teach, who are seeking to mentor young people to be Christ like. We will encourage and care for our staff. (Matthew 20:24-28; James 3:1)
4. We value excellence in academics composed of challenging, biblically-based curricula taught by exceptional staff. Working together they equip students to reach their God-given potential. (Luke 6:40; II Timothy 3:17; III John 4)
5. We value parents as partners in helping the school reach its mission and in meeting their responsibilities to their children and to their children’s education. (Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Ephesians 6:1-4)
6. We value ministry— we encourage our staff, students, and school families to serve each other and reach out to the community, country and world in which they live. (Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:19-20)
7. We value quality facilities that provide a safe and desirable learning environment, in keeping with the vision for VCA. (Philippians 3:12-14; 4:19; I Corinthians 14:40)
8. We value responsible stewardship with our finances.
A. We seek financial stability as achieved by using wisdom in all financial transactions and practices. (I Corinthians 14:40; Proverbs 22:7)
B. We seek to keep VCA affordable to those desiring Christian education by having reasonable fees and by striving to find assistance for those who would otherwise be turned away. (Matthew 19:14)
9. We value unity as is maintained in the body of Christ by being sensitive to differences not pertaining to salvation and by focusing on what we have in common in Jesus Christ. (Romans 15:5-6; Colossians 3:14)
10. We value integrity, practicing mutual accountability and striving to be above reproach in all things. (Titus 2:7)
11. We value the worth and dignity of each individual and extend the love and grace of God to one another in all situations. (Romans 12:10-11; Colossians 3:14)
