Candy Sale We are selling Fannie Mae candy bars! Yippy! These candy bars are easy to sell. Each case has 52 candy bars that sell for $1.00 each, which is a bargain. The candy bars sell for $1.36 in the stores. The chocolate is good and high quality. The profit for each case sold is $26.00; triple that and we have a $78.00 profit for VCA from just one family selling 3 cases. We have roughly 160 families, which could be more than a $12,000.00 profit for our school! All proceeds will be going to a much needed gym floor for the North Campus! If you do not want your child selling candy bars, we have another option for you. The profit for each case sold is $26.00; would you consider donating this amount or more?

Victory Christian Academy purchases gift cards at reduced prices from over 100 companies that have stores in the area of the school. Parents purchase them from us at the face value of the card. A $100 Family Express gas card costs VCA $96 and you buy it for $100 and get $100 worth of gas for it (very easily at the pump). About SCRIP
SCRIP is a term that means "substitute money". When school families purchase SCRIP, they are purchasing gift certificates that are used just like cash. SCRIP is issued by national and local retailers at a discount off the face value of the certificate. The SCRIP is then sold to the families at full face value, thus generating revenue.

The reason for the effectiveness of SCRIP is simple: families produce revenue by making purchases that they would make anyway. An organization of 150 families easily spends between one and two million dollars per year on food, clothing, gasoline and other essentials. They can raise as much as $40,000 - $80,000 per year without spending an additional penny. This is a great opportunity for VCA and our school families. All you have to do is use the program! By planning a little bit ahead and using SCRIP for your everyday purchases, money can be raised for our school.
